Sorry for being away for so long. I've been busy with my exams. I've had a total of 5 hours of sleep in the past 2 days due to last minute studying. Why did I do it? I just don't like the feeling you get when you open your test papers, look at the questions, realise that you don't know anything and start swearing in your head.

Speaking of exams, I've finished two cartridges of correction tape. Exams cost money. So during my accounts class, I was talking to Audrey about it and she told me I should get an "eraser pen" which can erase pen inks. I don't really trust these pens cause the last time I bought one I tried erasing the ink and my paper tore, imagine that. So I texted Athira to ask her where she got hers from. She got hers from Czip Lee, yes the famous one outside Bangsar Village which was near my class and went to look for it and found it. You're gonna be amazed by what this magical pen can do.

Recycling

Recycling is good,right? Not too sure about this kind of recycling though.

Apparently Disney had recycled some of their cartoons to cut cost in the past including Robin Hood, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, The Jungle Book and The Aristocats which was one of my favourites cause it was about 3 little "triplet" kittens. Don't think they still recycle cartoons though. But it doesn't really matter cause I doubt anybody even realised it, not me at least. I actually thought these movies were awesome.

I don't know why but I found it hilarious.

Had Sports Day rehearsal today. Heats for the sprint events, finals for long jump and high jump, Tug of War and cheerleading was held today.

I'm quite pleased I got through to the 100m finals because that's all I was aiming for before the race and I achieved it. Got 3rd for long jump, I'm actually quite happy about it because I didn't really expect to get anything from this event but I did. So yeah overall it's been a really good day for me. Didn't really watch tug of war. Judah & Ronald played for Helang, Farah & Fen played for Beruang and Amalina played for Seladang. That's all I know.

All the cheerleaders were amazing today and seriously the results didn't prove anything cause everyone trained so hard and performed so well that I bet it was really hard for the judges to choose a winner. Anyway here is how it finished:

Seladang- Champions
Harimau-Second
Beruang-Third
Helang-Fourth

The way cheerleading finished means that Harimau are Champions of Games Carnival. Yes we are the champions, believe it or not.

They're Coming

Guys, Krispy Kreme is finally making it's way to KL. If you don't know what Krispy Kreme is then you were just like me once. When people were talking about it, I'd be like "What's that?" and they'd look at me like I'm crazy or something and say "You don't know what Krispy Kreme is?! It's just the best doughnuts in the world!". Yeah, that's how good it is. It'll be opening on the 27th of April at Berjaya Times Square and the first customer to buy a dozen doughnuts will get a year supply of their famous Original Glazed doughnuts. I'm just wondering what anyone would do with a year supply of doughnuts.Well for all of you die hard Liverpool fans out there, after last night's disappointing 4-4 draw with Arsenal I have good news for you guys. The Reds are coming to a town near you. No, not Kuala Lumpur, somehow performers seem to like perform at all the cities around the region except here. They're going to play an exhibition match at Bangkok before flying off to Singapore for another match at these times:

People, this is Jude. Isn't he hensam? Today he had a minor argument with the canteen aunty. Yeah, the scary one selling drinks. So here's what happened.

Games Carnival

So I'm gonna finally wrote my long overdue post of games carnival.
Day 2
Played frisbee. Lost to Helang in the semis. Beat Beruang 10-2 for 3rd place. After frisbee, went to watch my basketball superstars Ron and Judah strut their stuff on the court. Both of them single handedly beat Harimau 17-7 in the final.

Day 3
The most important day, Football 9-a-side. We beat Seladang 3-1 in the semis with great goals from William and Nigel, The Keu Bros before going down to Beruang 2-0 in the final. The final was really close and it was a good game, everyone enjoyed it. Netball was on too. I didn't know how awesome a shooter Farah was until I watched her play against Helang she had like a 100% shooting record. Super shooter Farah Z

Day 4
Final day. Water polo. Harimau 12-1 Helang + Harimau 9-1 Seladang + Harimau 7-3 Beruang= Gold. My first gold for this years games carnival. Good job to Captain Fantastic Alvin who controlled all the games for us and allowing me to do the easy job of just putting the ball into the back of the net. I scored 13. Goal of tournament goes to Ron he was behind the middle line, his chest above the water, he threw the ball as hard as he could, it bounced of the water and flew into the goal. What a goal! One problem..... you're not allowed to bounce off the floor, Ron but the goal was counted anyway. Captain Marvelous

I haven't blogged since March 20th which was approximately 2 weeks ago. What has happened since then?
1. Went for Sunburst. Met some friends there like Aminah who actually bothers reading my blog.
2. Done and failed my exams and no I'm not exaggerating... I did fail. As Mr Sheat said " 1 person got an A for physics but only 1 person passed my Chem." And I'm definitely not the person who passed Chem considering I'm one of the average students in my class.
3. Finally watched Yes Man! with Ron when he stayed over at my place. Chin San wants to become a Yes Man so if you want him to do anything he might just say yes just not something over the top
4. Went for Audrey's birthday party where we did some crazy things like had a chicken wing eating contest and made some crazy video of Jude singing. Go check out her blog http://audreydesireeoaldb.blogspot.com.
5. Had MSSKL Handball. Beat Desa Petaling 4-0, Seri Hartamas 2-0 and lost to the eventual champions RMC in the final 4-1 in the group stage. We got to the quarter finals but lost to Bukit Jalil 3-0 and could have beaten them if it wasn't for some silly errors but no regrets. We're aiming for gold next year.
6. Games carnival has started. Harimau are doing well, we got 3rd for House Deco (at least we didn't get last like we usually do) but from what I heard we deserved more but it's okay, props to Sandra, Mei Jing and everyone involved for working so hard. Personally Games Carnival has started well for me, we got second for handball and I scored against Beruang in the semis. I admit I was out of order in the final against Helang and I'd like to apologise to everyone but that's just the way I play sports and you can't change me. Good job to Helang and ourselves, we made a good game out of it.

Déjà Vu

As the title suggests this week has been giving me a sense of déjà vu. I've gone through the same routine everyday since Monday. Wake up at 7 30. Walk to school for handball training. Walk home. Have lunch. Have a nap. Have dinner. Study and watching tv in between. This week has been really boring thanks to exams when school reopens.

Well the Champions League draw has been made which also produced a sense of déjà vu:
Quarter Final 1: Arsenal vs Villareal
It's hard to call but with key players (i.e. Fabregas, Adebayor) recovering from injury I see Arsenal progressing by getting a draw they need away before finishing it off at home just like they did in 2006 when they met Villareal in the semi finals.

Quarter Final 2: Manchester United vs Porto FC
Sir Alex has said that the one trophy he really wants this season is the Champions League so trust me, Manu WILL breeze through this tie winning comfortably home and away with a squad so much more superior to this Porto team but Porto have beaten Manu before at this stage when Mourinho was in charge in 2004 and unexpectedly went on to win the whole competition.

Quarter Final 3: Liverpool FC vs Chelsea FC
Liverpool have played Chelsea 3 times in the semi finals in the past 4 campaigns with Liverpool coming out on top twice. The only difference this time is they're meeting at the quarter final stage. It's gonna be tight and it might be decided by penalties but I see Liverpool going through.

Quarter Final 4: Bayern Munich vs Barcelona
Barcelona are favourites to go through and quite rightly so. Barcelona will go through but Bayern will give them something to think about.

The winner of Quarter Final 1 will play winner of 2 and winner of 3 playing winner of 4 paving way for a dream final between Liverpool and Manu if things go their way. Now that's something to look forward to.

I'll be going for Sunburst KL 2009 tomorrow. I hope to see you guys there.

Massive

What's massive? Liverpool scoring 8 goals against possibly the two biggest clubs (Real Madrid 4-0 & Manure 4-1) in the world. It's good to be a Liverpool fan at times like this and to you Manu fans who say stuff like " You know, we don't care about it. We'll win the league!" No doubt you guys are in a better position win the league but this result proves that Liverpool are gonna be a real threat to you guys if not this year than next year or many years to come. And to you Manu fans who say " We just give you high hopes but we'll take it away when we win the league." First of all before this match we knew that even if we won the match, we're not dumb enough to think we could overcome a 4 or possibly 7 point deficite so we won't be too discouraged when we don't win it, we'll be ecstatic that we've done the double over the eventual champions. Finally to Manu fans who say " We were the better team." or "You guys were lucky.", don't be delusional, how can the better team concede 4 goals and how can a lucky team score 4 good goals. So Manu fans just keep your mouth shut for a while and accept the fact that you guys had a bad day, it could have been so much different if you had performed as well as you guys normally do. Let us enjoy it, you guys have spent too much time at the top, it's Liverpool's time now.

Few things that I hate to admit.
1)Jac, Ron, Judah and all you Manu fans out there, if it makes you feel any better, Manu are still 4 points ahead with a game in hand and are in a good position to win the league. But Liverpool won't give it up without a fight.
2) Liverpool were awesome against Manu and Real Madrid but you have to admit that Real Madrid aren't the force they used to be and Manu were just really really rubbish today.
3) Liverpool are toothless in attack without Gerrard and Torres, sharing 5 goals between them out of the 8 we scored in against Manu and Real

Positives:
1) Dossena is scoring?!? ( 1 against Manu and Real)
2) Even if Manu do win the league, us Liverpool fans have the bragging rights, having beaten them twice already this season.
3) Liverpool are still in the Champions League and in contention for the league title.

Anyway I've been having exams this past week and it's been tough. I've been burning the midnight oil to get all my studying done and all the papers were extremely hard. Who knew we had to write so many essays? I've already finished like two correction tapes and my pens are running out of ink. I'm kinda glad the holidays have finally arrived, now I have time to study for the remaining papers. That's all for now, you'll probably have to wait until after the exams for my next post unless I have something really really interesting to write about this coming week.

World Maths Day

So I just got back from farah z's house. Had handball this morning. Walked to school cause my parents are at Bangkok attending some Carlsberg guy's farewell party thingy. Played handball. Walked to eat breakfast/lunch/brunch with farah, athira, ariff, ron, john and chin san. Walked to farah's house. Spent about an hour and a half there and walked back home. I've already typed out 'walked' 4 times. Sigh. That's how much I've walked today. Now I've typed 'walked' 7 times, including this one. Now back to the main point World Maths Day (WMD).... Day 1
So our class were told that WMD was starting at 8 o' clock so when we logged in at 8, we find that we're already about 30 000 points behind the leaders which were either the form 3's or form 2's. Apparently it started at 6-7 o' clock. Despite that we managed to fight our way up to 11th place which required us lifeless form 4's especially ron to play until midnight or so.

Day 2
We find that we've dropped from 11th to 33rd. So demoralising.... but our 'cheerleader' alexis somehow managed to be so optimistic about our chances. She even asked Mr. Avinash whether we could go to the hall just to play it. So we spent the whole day in the hall until around 6 just playing it however some people until 8 such as Alexis and managed to reach 4th place. After that Ron stayed over at my place and we played until around 12 30 but we were still behind the form 1's and CIS by around 20 000 points. We gave up chasing the form 2's and 3's (most lifeless people in the world) cause they were like 100 000 points ahead.

Day 3
The final day. We had to stay in the hall the whole day until 7 just playing the game. Can you imagine staring at a screen full of numbers for almost 11 hours. It almost killed me. I just sat beside farah listening to her songs while playing the whole day. In the end the form 4's got 3rd, which was hardwork, you cannot imagine how hard we had to work. Ahead of us were the form 3's and form 2's who managed to answer a million questions which was kinda cool. I'm kinda glad it's over but I can't wait for next year when we'll definitely finish first.

Oh and I'm sure you people want to why Mr. Alvin kept on calling Chin San to do his finger exercises. So here's the story, one day the form 4's had the hall to ourselves to play WMD. Pn Jamaliah passes me the mic so I just start playing around with it and talking in it. Then chin san, ron and I decide to give our class some 'inspirational' speech. Then chin san takes the mic and went on about how we should stretch before we play so we don't get cramps and all. It was hilarious. Mr. Alvin and Ms. Tok were laughing and told us we had 'limited edition' brains and yeah so that's how the whole finger exercising thing came about.

Saturday, 21st February 2009
Handball friendly with cheras at cheras. U 15 team won 7-1, they played really well especially shazwan but that's because the whole cheras U 15 team were really really small like Idris. Then we played against the cheras U 18. We lost but we learned a lot from them. Don't ask about the score. It'll remain confidential.

After the match Alvin, Ariff, Ronald, Chin San, Cherng Woei and I took a cab back to my house at Bukit Damansara. We took 2 seperate cabs. While I was in the cab I receive a text from Chin San so I called him.

Where are you guys? My cab driver is taking some funky way.
What the fishnuggets? Where are you?
I'm at some road heading to VI.
What the fishsticks? Our house is at Bukit Damansara!
It's okay. I'll be fine

Minutes later I receive a text from Chin San.
I'm at muzium Negara.

Finally we got home safe. The stupid cab driver who brought Chin San for a tour around town charged him RM 16 but the cab driver who took me charged me RM 20, he must have charged extra for the music he was playing man... some bullshit chinese songs. We played guitar hero world tour until everyone left. Alvin has some mad skills, he can play almost all the songs at expert level.

Sunday 22nd February 2009
We had Swimming Gala. Nothing very interesting happened. Our Harimau swimmers were rocking. Al Soo, Justin Koh and his bro Julian were good. But my 7 year old cousin, Wen Li was the best! She won 2 golds! But Seladang won overall followed by Harimau, Beruang and Helang.
After swimming gala, I went to Alvin's house and we went together with Boon to Bandar Tun Razak for Water Polo training. It was extremely tiring. We started at 4 and finished at 7 but a good workout. I'm still working very hard on my water polo to become as good as Al Soo and Boon Man. Got home. Slept. Didn't even bother watching my beloved Liverpool play cause no matter what happens we'll still win the league

Monday 23rd February 2009
Had tennis training with Harimau team. Guess I'm not gonna play this year. The Harimau players seem to get better and better every year or it's just that I'm really rubbish at it. Zenon and Adil are super. Better watch your back Gao Jye. Got home slept until dinner time and did my homework.

Golgi Apparatus

What's up, people? Sorry for the long overdue post I'm suppose to write about myself. It's just been a really tough 2 weeks of school and to be quite honest I'm finding it hard to keep up with form 4 life so far but what the heck, I'll pull through in the end.

Yeah so..... about myself. My name is Chin Loong, full name Goh Chin Loong. You can call me whatever you want it's just the matter of whether I'll answer to it or not, just ask Jude he should know. You don't know Jude? He's the annoying hairy indian boy who follows me around school.

I was born on the 2nd of May 1993. Exactly 18 years before that, David Beckham was born and 10 years after that Lily Allen was born. So I share my birthday with 2 famous celebrities. That's about the only thing I have in common with both of them.

I love to play sports (e.g. football, handball, water polo etc.). I guess I'm pretty decent at them but I'll let you guys be the judge of that. Football is my passion. Huge Liverpool fan! And I think this will be our year despite what people say cause I think Manure have had enough glory in 2008, 2009 is OURS. My favourite football player is Daniel Agger (because I've met him before in 2006 at Anfield) but I think Steven Gerrard is the best player in the world.

I have great friends and the coolest family in the world. I'll blog about that some other time. Finally, I'd like to think I'm a nice person which I am but some people might not think I am so yeah.... that's about it. I'll finally start posting about my daily life in the next posts. The Sheat Experience

Hey guys. Chin Loong here.

I'm sure most of you know why I've started this blog. Well if you don't already know. My english teacher, Pn. Azura has made it compulsory for all her students to have a blog and we have to update it regularly meaning at least 3 times a week.

Anyway I'm sure most of you are wondering why my blog URL is ' The Sheat Experience'. Well on the first day of school, Mr. Sheat told us about how the class of 2005 regarded school life under him as ' The Sheat Experience' - "not a rollercoaster ride, just a really 'unique' and memorable adventure". So I was thinking that since I'd be using this blog throughout the rest of my school life, it was befitting.

Pn. Azura told us to write about ourselves, but that'll have to wait until the next post. I have tons of work to do but not enough time. Sigh. I'm gonna take off now. So take care people.
